ISLAMABAD: The Federal Government has terminated all employees of the Utility Stores Corporation (USC), effective from September 1, 2025.
According to details, the suspension of USC will impact 11,406 employees across the country, who will be compensated under a comprehensive financial relief package.
USC administration informed the media that the closure of the corporation is part of the government’s economic restructuring plan aimed at reducing the financial burden of state-owned enterprises.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Industries and Production has finalized a Rs 25.5 billion compensation package for affected employees.
