PESHAWAR: ​Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, extended heartfelt Easter greetings to the Christian community across Pakistan.

In his message, he described Easter as a celebration of peace, love, brotherhood, and service to humanity.​

Governor Kundi emphasised that Easter teaches lessons of social harmony, tolerance, and respect for all faiths—principles essential for building a peaceful and progressive society.

He highlighted Pakistan’s rich diversity, where various religions, cultures, and ethnicities coexist, and where traditions of mutual respect and equality are upheld.​

He acknowledged the Christian community’s significant contributions to Pakistan’s development, particularly in education, healthcare, and social services, noting that their efforts are deeply valued by the nation.​

Governor Kundi also shared that the Governor House in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has always welcomed minority communities and has organized seminars promoting interfaith harmony. Since assuming office, he has met with leaders of various religions in Peshawar and visited their places of worship.​

He concluded by urging collective efforts to promote religious tolerance, national unity, and brotherhood to ensure lasting peace and prosperity in the country.
