Govt Hajj Scheme: 90,000 Pilgrims Set to Fly Starting April 29

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Yousaf announced that Hajj flights will start on April 29, with 90,000 pilgrims traveling officially. He shared updates on training and preparations during a press conference.
Sardar Yousaf said the first phase of training has been completed, and the second phase will begin on April 8. He urged pilgrims to prepare thoroughly, emphasizing the importance of training.
The minister confirmed that vaccination and other health measures are being arranged for pilgrims. Officers will be assigned duties once flights commence nationwide.

Sardar Yousaf stated that Hajj preparations are nearly complete, with clear instructions from the Prime Minister to ensure smooth operations.
Long-term Hajj will cost Rs 10.5 lakh, while short-term Hajj will be Rs 11.5 lakh. Any unused funds will be returned to the pilgrims.Sardar Yousaf also inspected Hajj arrangements in Medina to ensure facilities are ready for Pakistani pilgrims.
