Govt warns landlords, employers against sheltering illegal foreigners

Talal Chaudhry Says Any Indian Aggression Will Get Historic Response

ISLAMABAD: The government announced strict measures on Friday against individuals aiding illegal foreigners, including landlords, employers, and hoteliers, as part of its ongoing deportation drive.

State Minister Talal Chaudhry warned that anyone renting homes, shops, or offering jobs to undocumented migrants will face legal action, stressing that the deadline for illegal foreigners to leave Pakistan “will not be extended.”

Chaudhry stated Afghan nationals are being repatriated “in a dignified manner,” but emphasized compliance with the policy. Provincial police chiefs have been directed to enforce the crackdown, with Punjab continuing its targeted campaign to evict illegal residents. Hotels providing rooms to undocumented foreigners will also be penalized.
