Several parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the federal capital on Thursday received a hailstorm and rain coupled with strong winds.
After a week of heatwave across the region, a fresh spell of rain and hailstorm lashed several parts of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the federal capital Islamabad, which suddenly turned the weather by breaking the heatwave.
According to reports, the hailstorm was received in the upper parts of Malakand and Hazara divisions in KP, while strong winds hit the federal capital.
The fresh spell of rain made the weather cool for the residents in Islamabad as Labour Day vacation is being celebrated in the capital.
On April 16, a heavy hailstorm had battered the twin cities. Hundreds of vehicles windscreen damaged, as well as the car’s roof, bonnets and other exterior bodies.
