ISLAMABAD: The government has officially closed the process of receiving applications under the Hajj 2026 scheme.
According to a spokesperson for the Ministry of Religious Affairs, a total of 118,060 applications were submitted from across the country. The applications were processed on a first-come, first-served basis, and no further requests will be accepted.
The spokesperson further explained that half of the Hajj expenses have already been collected as the first installment, while the second installment will be received at a later stage. The process of collecting the remaining dues will begin on November 1.
