NOWSHERA: Commissioner Peshawar Riaz Mehsud visited Jamia Darul Uloom Haqqania and distributed compensation cheques to the families of the martyrs and injured in the Jamia Haqqania Akora Khattak tragedy.
On this occasion, Maulana Abdul Haq Sani, the Ameer of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (S) and the successor of martyr Maulana Hamid-ul-Haq, thanked the provincial authorities and said that the people who were martyred along with Maulana Hamid-ul-Haq Haqqani were poor laborers from different walks of life.
On the occasion of the visit of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur to Jamia Haqqania, we had demanded that the families of the martyrs be given a martyrs package, on which the Chief Minister took immediate steps and approved the martyrs package for the families of the martyrs.
Maulana Abdul Haq Sani returned the cheque of his martyred father Maulana Hamidul Haq Haqqani Shaheed and his cheque received in the injured quota to the government and requested that this cheque be deposited back into the national treasury and demanded that the investigation into this tragedy be further expedited and that those responsible for this tragedy be brought to justice as soon as possible.
On this occasion, Deputy Superintendent of Jamia Darul Uloom Haqqania Maulana Rashidul Haq Sami, Maulana Osama Sami, Maulana Khuzima Sami, Maulana Luqmanul Haq, DC Nowshera Mr. Irfan Sahib and DPO Nowshera Abdul Rashid and other provincial officers were present.
