HAZECO now fully operational, promises improved power supply: Murtaza Javed Abbasi

Murtaza Javed Abbasi, the Provincial General Secretary of the Pakistan Muslim League (N) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, announced on Wednesday that the Hazara Electric Supply Company (HAZECO) is now fully operational. He revealed that the company’s account has been activated, and going forward, electricity bills will be issued directly by HAZECO.

In a statement shared on social media, Abbasi assured that all electricity-related issues, including load shedding, line upgrades, and the provision of full voltage to every household, will be addressed as a priority. He emphasised that the public’s electricity concerns will be resolved promptly and effectively.

Taking a swipe at critics, Abbasi stated, “Today is a day of shame for those who claimed this project would never be completed, not even by doomsday. Those who prioritised personal egos over public needs will never be forgiven by the people.”

Congratulating the residents of Hazara, he noted that their long-standing struggle has finally yielded results. He credited this success to the unwavering commitment of the Pakistan Muslim League-N government, especially the personal interest of Prime Minister Mian Shehbaz Sharif and the cooperation of Federal Minister for Energy Awais Leghari.
