MINGORA: Thunderstorms and heavy rain lashed Mingora city and surrounding areas of Swat district, causing a significant rise in water levels in Mingora Khwar and nearby seasonal streams.
According to the reports, the local administration has issued an alert due to the risk of further increases in water flow, particularly in low-lying areas.
Residents have been advised to exercise caution and avoid unnecessary travel near rivers and streams.
Meanwhile, in Chena Bazaar, which was previously affected by flooding, shopkeepers have started vacating their shops as a precautionary measure.
