ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister’s PM Coordinator Ikhtiar Wali Khan launched a strong critique against the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government, defending the PM’s constitutional right to form committees and asserting federal awareness of provincial issues.
Responding to PTI leader Barrister Gohar, Wali alleged billions in anti-terror funds given to KP were misused. He claimed the money funded “measures like attacking Islamabad” instead of public welfare, adding the provincial government cannot account for these expenditures.
Speaking to Dunya News, Wali further accused KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and his relatives of illegally occupying resources in tribal districts, wasting public money on personal luxuries.
He contended provincial funds now finance “chaotic politics,” violating public trust. Wali reiterated the federal government’s commitment to transparency and protecting public interests.
