PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government Spokesperson Barrister Saif has claimed that PTI founding Chairman Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi are being forced to fast without having food in Sehri.
In a statement, Barrister said that Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi are not being provided food for Sehri and Iftar during Ramazan.
Barrister Saif said that both Khan and Bushra Bibi are being forced to fast without having a Sehri meal.
He alleged that restricting meetings with Imran Khan during Ramazan is a deliberate act to torture him mentally and give him physical distress. He said that banning meetings is the contempt of court orders.
Furthermore, Saif said that they [ Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi] are also being prevented from performing religious rituals, which has caused widespread concern among the public. He accused the government of being fearful of a single prisoner.
Terming ban on meetings a blatant violation of court orders, Barrister Saif called for contempt of court proceedings against the authorities responsible.
