ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry stated on Saturday that PTI founder Imran Khan’s sons would face no hurdles if they have applied for Pakistani visas.
During an interview with private media outlet, Chaudhry said that Kasim and Sulaiman, the incarcerated ex-premier’s sons, would be issued visas or National Identity Cards for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) if required. He added that the government would not obstruct the process in any way.
He further assured that if their visa application tracking numbers are shared with him, he would personally ensure the matter is resolved.
Chaudhry also reiterated the government’s consistent position in favour of dialogue on national issues, noting that several efforts had previously been made to initiate talks.
His remarks followed a statement by Imran Khan’s sister Aleema Khan, who revealed that Kasim and Sulaiman had applied for NICOPs. She said they had previously held NICOPs, but had since lost them.
