Rana Sanaullah, Advisor to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs, stated that the sons of PTI founder Imran Khan would be allowed to return to Pakistan if they meet all legal requirements.
Speaking on Samaa News, Sanaullah clarified that since Imran Khan’s sons are British citizens, they must apply for a visa to enter Pakistan. He added that they have the right to continue their father’s political legacy, but their activities must remain peaceful; otherwise, legal action will be taken.
Sanaullah recalled that Imran Khan had previously criticised hereditary politics but said the PML-N has no objection if his sons join politics, as long as they follow the law.
Regarding recent rains, he emphasised the need for a 5 to 10-year plan to manage urban flooding. He mentioned that Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz is overseeing drainage efforts, while Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed NDMA and other agencies to take necessary steps.
In political talks, Sanaullah said no negotiations are currently happening between the government and PTI. He claimed the PM had invited the opposition for dialogue three times but received no positive response.
