BANNU: A youth was killed after two motorcyclists attempted to infiltrate Bannu Cantt on Monday. The area was closed for general traffic due to security reasons, where strict security measures were in place.
According to the police, security personnel warned the motorcyclists to stop, but they did not stop. After breaking two barriers, a final warning was given by blowing a whistle and firing in the air when they moved towards the sensitive area, but they ignored it.
As per security protocol, the officials had to take action, as a result of which one person was killed while the other was arrested. The administration expressed regret over the incident and has launched a transparent investigation into the incident.
