India fails to crush spirit of IIOJK residents fighting for self-determination: Amir Muqam

 

 

Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and SAFRON Engineer Amir Muqam has said that India could not erase the spirit of the people of the Indian occupied Kashmir for their right to self-determination.

As long as a single Pakistani is alive, the Kashmir issue will remain alive. Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif spoke boldly at the United Nations on the Kashmir issue.

He was addressing the Kashmir Conference here on Wednesday, on this occasion, PML-N leader Raja Zafar-ul-Haq, Prime Minister Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq, Speaker Azad Kashmir Assembly Latif Akbar, APHC Chairman Ghulam Muhammad Safi, Member of National Assembly Hafizuddin, Mushahid Hussain Syed, political leaders of Azad Kashmir and the APHC leadership were also present.

Addressing the conference, the minister said that in occupied Kashmir there have been martyrdoms and women have become widows, thousands of Kashmiris are still imprisoned in Indian jails, the Hurriyat leadership is also in jails, while many leaders have passed away.

Muqam said that India could not erase the spirit of the people of occupied Kashmir for their right to self-determination, even today Kashmiris are struggling more vigorously and more than before.
