India is responsible for deteriorating peace in the region: DG ISPR

 

RAWALPINDI: Director General Inter Services Public Relations Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said that India is constantly engaged in sabotage activities and supporting anti-Pakistan proxies in Balochistan to spread fear and terrorism in the country.

 

He was addressing a joint press conference along with the federal Interior Secretary in Rawalpindi. They hold detailed discussions over the security situation in the region, Indian actions and recent terrorist incidents. DG ISPR said that India is busy in efforts to sabotage peace and stability in the region. He clarified that India not only provides financial support to terrorist groups but also patronises them to spread unrest in Pakistan.

 

DG ISPR said that India has been active in creating unrest since the establishment of Pakistan. The establishment of Mukti Bahini and the fall of Dhaka are clear examples of this.DG ISPR Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has said that India has been following a policy of state terrorism for the last two decades. Pakistan presented a dossier to the United Nations in 2009, which included undeniable evidence of Indian interference in Balochistan.

 

He clarified that several terrorists arrested in Pakistan have confessed to Indian patronage. The surrendered members of “Fitna-ul-Hindustan” also stated all the facts of India’s backing in their statements. He presented the arrest of Kulbhushan Jadhav as practical proof of India’s state terrorism.

 

Referring to the recent terrorist attacks, the DG ISPR said that on May 21, children were targeted by terrorism at the behest of India, in which many innocent children were martyred and are undergoing treatment in many hospitals. He said that on April 12, 2024, terrorists martyred 12 labourers, on April 28, two labourers in Ketch, on May 09, seven people in Sarband, on February 14, 10 civilians, and on February 19, 7 passengers in Barkhane were targeted by terrorism.

 

DG ISPR termed these incidents as a reflection of India’s terrorist face and said that the real hideous face of Fitna-ul-Hindustan has been completely exposed with the martyrdom of children in Khuzdar. He demanded of the international community to take notice of India’s state terrorism and stop the loss of innocent lives.

 

He said that India is the biggest terrorist country in the world and a network like Fitna-ul-Hindustan is involved in attacks on innocent civilians in Khuzdar, Kech, Barkhan and other areas. He said that in the school bus attack in Khuzdar on May 21, terrorists targeted children on the orders of India, as a result of which six children were martyred and 51 were injured. Many children are still undergoing treatment in hospitals.

 

He said that Fitnaul Hindustan is behind all these attacks, which led to the mass killing of 21 workers and seven barbers. He said that these actions of India actually reflect its brutality and disgusting face.

DG ISPR said that on May 06 and 07, India launched a new wave of terrorism in which 40 innocent Pakistanis were martyred. However, in Operation ‘Banyan Marsus’, Pakistan gave a befitting reply to the enemy. He said in unequivocal terms that these intentions of the enemy will never be allowed to succeed.
