The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, has stated that Indian government’s attempt to take his remarks out of context regarding terrorism sponsorship and high-level tactics in Pakistan is unacceptable. He said, “I was occupied with elections today, and later I learned that the Indian government misconstrued my statements made to the FATF (Financial Action Task Force). I want to clarify a few points.
Firstly, India has a long history of involvement in terrorism directed at Pakistan and the surrounding region, not just recently. Having previously served as the Minister of Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, I intend to write a letter to the FATF. I will personally go there to explain what is happening in Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Indian involvement in terrorism in Pakistan is particularly evident during the Afghan war, when more than a hundred Indian embassies were established without any trade, investment, or diplomacy. These embassies served primarily to spread terrorism in Pakistan. I am committed to exposing India’s role in terrorism throughout Pakistan, especially in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
I will inform the world that our leader, Imran Khan, our party, and the entire nation are united in defending Pakistan. Recently, India launched a nighttime attack on Pakistan but faced a significant defeat. Imran Khan and our nation have demonstrated that we know how to counter such threats.
I want to be clear that India is involved in terrorism throughout this region. Whether it involves attacks on Chinese entities, assaults on installations, or any other form of terrorism within our borders, the common thread leads back to India.
I also want to emphasise that it is our Pashtuns who freed Kashmir. God willing, the time will come when we Pashtuns, will also liberate the rest of Kashmir that is under your occupation.
To Modi, I send this message: We are not cowards who attack under the cover of night. We come forward with our voices raised and with the truth. We believe that victory ultimately belongs to truth and justice. Our people and our forces are making significant sacrifices to eradicate the terrorism that India is promoting in Pakistan.
Moreover, all levels of government, the entire nation, and all defence institutions in Pakistan are united in their efforts to safeguard the country.
In closing, I reiterate to Modi that we are all united in defending Pakistan. I will expose you and your government for attempting to mislead the FATF by presenting a false narrative. I will travel there personally to demonstrate that you belong on the FATF grey list for terrorism. God willing, I will ensure that you are placed on that list.”
