Internal rift among the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders intensified as former speaker National Assembly, Asad Qaiser, has demanded an investigation into the chief minister Ali Amin Gandapur’s statements.
“I demand from the party’s central leadership that a thorough investigation be conducted into the recent statements of the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,” He said in a statement issued here on Friday.
He says the founding chairman’s position in this regard should be brought before the nation.
“We reserve the right to respond to the Chief Minister’s statement,
In the current circumstances, we consider it necessary for the country and the founding chairman to avoid such things,” He added.
He said that at this time, all their attention should be focused on the release of the founder Imran Khan and other innocent prisoners.
Asad Qaiser states the struggle for the release of the founder should not be weakened by inciting internal issues of the party through unnecessary statements.
He adds that the Chief Minister should focus all his energies on better governance in the province, and he should focus on the struggle for the restoration of law and order and the release of the founder and other innocent prisoners.
