iPhone 17 pricing leaked: Entire lineup faces increases

Apple expected to unveil iPhone 17 series in September 2025 with major design and display upgrades

Apple’s upcoming iPhone 17 lineup – including the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and a new ultra-thin “iPhone 17 Air” – is slated for a September 9 or 10 unveiling, according to industry reports. While Apple remains silent, leaked pricing details suggest increases for most models compared to last year.

The standard iPhone 17will reportedly start at $799, matching the iPhone 16’s launch price. However, the Pro models face hikes:

iPhone 17 Pro: Expected at $1049 (up $50 from iPhone 16 Pro’s $999)

iPhone 17 Pro Max: Expected at $1249 (up $50 from iPhone 16 Pro Max’s $1199)

iPhone 17 Air: The new model is tipped to start at $949 – $50 more than the iPhone 16 Plus.

Sources attribute the price rises primarily to tariffs imposed by former US President Donald Trump on components sourced from China and India. The leaks suggest no major surprise features, aligning with rumors circulating for months. Apple typically confirms prices and availability at its September event.
