Iran’s envoy to the United Nations expressed gratitude to Pakistan for playing role in convening an emergency UN Security Council meeting to discuss Israel’s recent attack on Iran, calling it a “grave violation of international law.”
Speaking at the session, Iran’s representative also thanked Algeria, China, and Russia for their role in convening the meeting.
The envoy described Israel’s actions as “unlawful aggression” and a breach of the UN Charter, urging the international community to take action.
The emergency meeting was called to address escalating tensions following the attack, with Iran demanding accountability.
