Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has said that joint measures of Iran and China are essential for the effective implementation of recent agreements with China.

He stressed that the positive and constructive talks held during his visit to Beijing must now be put into practice. Addressing the Iranian community in the Chinese capital, President Pezeshkian described the talks and discussions as very fruitful.

He said that the responsibility of translating agreements from paper to practice lies with experts in science, industry, trade and other fields. He said that the improvement in Iran’s relations with other countries, especially neighbouring and allied countries, has paved the way for further strengthening cooperation.

The president stressed that Iran and China, heirs of two ancient civilisations, cannot lag behind new nations in the field of development. He said that by benefiting from shared history, science, culture and civilisation, both countries can bring prosperity to their people.

He also made it clear that without global cooperation and partnership, development opportunities will remain limited, so the Iranian diaspora should be aware of the modern achievements of the world so that they can play a better role in Iran’s progress.

Discussing the regional situation, President Pezeshkian condemned Israeli aggression and said that its ongoing crimes are being made possible by modern weapons and technological weapons provided to it by the United States and its Western allies.
