Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian set to visit Pakistan on July 26

Prime minister meets Iranian president on sidelines of 17th ECO summit in Khankendi

ISLAMABAD: Iranian President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian will arrive in Pakistan on July 26th for an official visit, the Pakistani Foreign Office announced today.

During his visit, President Peshmerga will meet with Pakistan’s top leaders, including the President and the Prime Minister. Talks between the two sides are expected to cover important regional and global issues, trade cooperation, border security, energy, and strengthening people-to-people connections.

This visit comes as both countries work together to address common challenges, promote regional peace and stability, and enhance economic ties. Pakistan recently supported Iran during tensions with Israel, condemning Israeli actions at the United Nations and backing Iran’s right to territorial security.

The visit is also expected to result in the signing of several agreements and memoranda of understanding (MoUs), aimed at opening new avenues for cooperation between Iran and Pakistan. The Pakistani government has welcomed the visit and begun preparations to receive the Iranian President with full official protocol.
