In the 30th match of Pakistan Super League Season 10, Islamabad United delivered a dominant performance, defeating Karachi Kings by 79 runs at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
Batting first after losing the toss, Islamabad posted a massive total of 251 runs. Alex Hales led the charge with a fiery 88, while Sahibzada Farhan contributed 73. Captain Shadab Khan added 42 runs to the scoreboard. In response, Karachi Kings struggled and were bowled out for 172. David Warner (43) and Abbas Afridi (34) were the top scorers for Karachi, but Shadab Khan’s four-wicket haul dismantled their chase. Imad Wasim and Salman Irshad took two wickets each.
With this win, Islamabad United strengthened their position in the points table, now sitting second with 12 points. Quetta Gladiators lead with 15 points, while Karachi Kings are third.
