PESHAWAR: An academic and intellectual session titled “Hilal Talks 2025” has officially begun under the auspices of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of the Pakistan Army.
Around 1950, teachers from different parts of the country are participating in this session. The main objective of the program is to provide awareness about the tactics and nefarious objectives of anti-national elements on social media. The teachers participating in the program said that through special sessions, they got an opportunity to understand the structure, role, and working methods of the Pakistan Army closely. On this occasion, eminent academic figures and journalists also expressed their views. During the program, it was also highlighted that India uses tactics like Fitna-ul-Kharij and Fitna-ul-Hindustan to conspire against Pakistan.
In this academic session, DG ISPR gave reasoned answers to the questions of the teachers on various topics, which the participants considered very useful. The teachers said that these sessions have broadened our intellectual and teaching horizons. Assistant Professor NUST Dr. Sundas Mustaqim said that experts from different walks of life have been invited here, whom we are getting to learn a lot.
Director of Bahauddine Zakria University Dr. Abdul Quddus Sohaib said that DG ISPR gave a very detailed and impressive talk about terrorism and especially Balochistan. I completely agree with his position. Dr. Sarina Ehsan from Kinnard College for Women said that very important information was provided on the topic of Fifth Generation Warfare and Social Media in the session.
Nabiullah, Director of Karakoram University, opined that the army is ours and today we got a good opportunity to interact with the army and all the misunderstandings were cleared. Farah Faisal, a lecturer at the University of Gwadar, said that social media is being used to convey misinformation and spread fake news. According to Dr. Imtiaz Awan of AJK University, the DG ISPR conveyed Pakistan’s narrative to us in the best possible way.
