PESHAWAR: Police have recorded statements of over 50 persons as progress has been made in the investigation into the suicide blast at Darul Uloom Haqqania Akora Khattak.
The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has recorded the statements of more than 50 people, including the injured.
During the investigation, the process of taking custody of the CCTV footage of the suicide blast has been completed, while the organs of the suicide bomber have been sent for DNA testing. The police and intelligence agencies are busy with the investigation and the statements of all the injured have been recorded.
According to the authorities, help has also been sought from mobile companies for further progress in the investigation, while the process of tracing the call data records (CDRs) is also underway.
