ISLAMABAD: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, in a special Eid-ul-Fitr message, extended his greetings to the nation and the global Muslim Ummah while calling for solidarity with oppressed communities, particularly in Gaza.
Emphasizing the teachings of Islam, Fazl described Muslims as “one body,” stating that the suffering of Palestinians and other persecuted Muslims worldwide should resonate with all believers. “The brutality in Gaza during the holy month of Ramadan is a test of our collective conscience,” he said.
The JUI-F leader urged the faithful to celebrate Eid with simplicity, avoid extravagance, and prioritize helping the needy. “Eid is not just joy; it is a reminder to share blessings with the less fortunate,” he added.
