The district administration of Shangla announced on Monday that the Kabalgram Bridge has been reopened for all types of traffic after sustaining damage from flooding in the river Indus and strong winds.
In a statement issued by the Shangla Deputy Commissioner, it was confirmed that traffic on the Kabalgram Bridge has been restored for all vehicles. The bridge had been affected by recent gusty winds and flooding in the river, which caused damage and broke some of its ropes.
The bridge connects Shangla with the Torghar district over the river Indus at Kabalgram.

The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has released a comprehensive report detailing the human and material losses resulting from the recent spell of heavy rainfall, flash floods, and landslides across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa since June 25.
According to the report, a total of 22 people have tragically lost their lives, including 7 men, 5 women, and 10 children. In addition, 11 individuals sustained injuries, among them six men, four women, and a child
