The Kalam-Bahrain Road, which was closed due to a landslide, has been fully restored in a short amount of time thanks to the heavy machinery provided by the Upper Swat Development Authority (USDA).

The main Kalam-Mingora Road was also closed for all traffic because of a landslide near the tourist spot of Asreet in Swat, causing significant transportation difficulties for both locals and tourists. In response to the urgency of the situation, Director General Shozab Abbas of the USDA promptly ordered the deployment of heavy machinery, allowing the clearance operation to be completed within two hours in collaboration with the district administration.

According to spokesperson Saeed-ur-Rehman, during the operation, large stones and debris were removed, making the road safe and functional for all types of traffic. Additional Assistant Commissioner Ahmed Sher, Assistant Commissioner Bahrain Junaid Khan, and USDA officials were present on site to directly oversee the restoration process.
