Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has accused Israel of carrying out a systematic conspiracy to weaken the Islamic world, beyond just military attacks.
Speaking on the issue, Asif stated that Israel’s plan is aimed at stripping Muslim nations of their sovereignty, damaging their economies, and eliminating their defense capabilities. He emphasized that while Islamic countries may face economic challenges, their military strength remains significant.
The minister pointed out that some Muslim nations possess strong defense systems, which he claimed is a major concern for Israel. According to him, the “Zionist state” does not want a united or militarily powerful Islamic world.
Asif also expressed disappointment over certain Islamic countries that have established diplomatic or trade relations with Israel, stating that they have “fallen into Israel’s trap.”
Additionally, he alleged that Israel has taken control of the global economy to maintain economic pressure on Muslim-majority nations. His remarks come amid heightened tensions in the region following recent conflicts involving Israel and Iran.
