PESHAWAR: Awami National Party (ANP) leader and former provincial education minister Sardar Hussain Babak said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is administratively paralysed, corruption continues, Public Service Commission, ETA and other institutions have been tarnished.

Speaking on the Pakhtun Digital Podcast, Sardar Hussain Babak said that there is widespread mismanagement in the province, at present there is no political opposition in the province, but the people are playing the role of opposition.

Regarding Pak-Afghan trade, he said that millions of people, from daily wage workers to investors and businessmen, including drivers, are involved. If these routes remain closed, these millions of people will be unemployed, which will further increase poverty.

He said that if the centre was not giving rights to the province, the provincial government was also giving up its rights, which was having a direct impact on the people in the form of inflation. To develop this province, investors would be requested to come and develop their homes.

The former provincial education minister said that during the 12-year rule of the PTI, more than a million youth have left the country, which was very worrying.

While discussing the situation of unrest, the ANP leader said that Khan Abdul Wali Khan (late) had said long ago that the land would be ours to use in the war of superpowers. Today, the field is once again being set for militancy and the security situation has deteriorated to the point where people are avoiding going to mosques.
