KHYBER: A police post in the Khyber district came under attack by militants on Thursday, with security forces successfully repelling the assault without any casualties.
The incident occurred at a post within the jurisdiction of the Bara Akakhel Police Station. According to police sources, the attackers initiated the assault by throwing a grenade at the security post.
The police personnel stationed at the post responded immediately with retaliatory fire. Their swift response forced the attackers to flee the scene. Official sources confirmed that all police officers on duty are safe and accounted for.
