Kohat board reschedules cancelled 11th & 12th class exams after student protests

Matric exams postponed in North Waziristan amid ‘security concerns’

KHOAT: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Kohat has announced the resumption of cancelled examination papers for 11th and 12th grades, which were disrupted during student protests on May 12.

The exams were postponed after test materials were damaged at Centers No. 92 and 93 in Darra Adamkhel College during demonstrations. According to the board’s notification, affected students will retake the 12th class English (Compulsory) Paper-II on June 4 (9:00 AM–12:00 PM)and the 11th class Statistics Paper-II on the same day (2:00 PM–4:00 PM).

The board urged all eligible candidates to report on time to ensure smooth conduct. The decision aims to mitigate academic losses for students impacted by the protest-related cancellations.
