KP announces medical officers exam results, 1766 clear test

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) announced on Wednesday the results of examinations for medical officers; 1766 have cleared the test.

The results of the written examinations conducted by ETA on June 14 and 15, 2025, for the recruitment of Medical Officers on a contract basis under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Department have been announced.

A total of 8,974 candidates participated in this test, which was held across four different districts. Out of these, 1,766 candidates passed, while 5,664 were declared unsuccessful.

According to the statistics released by ETA, in Batkhela, 2,424 candidates took the test, with 476 passing and 1,562 failing. The highest score recorded in this district was 78.

In Haripur, 1,652 candidates participated, with 342 passing and 1,023 failing. The maximum score in Haripur was 79.

A total of 1,823 candidates sat for the exam in Upper Dir, where 364 passed and 1,193 failed. Here, the highest score was also 79.

Mardan had the largest number of candidates, with 3,075 participating in the exam. Out of these, 584 passed while 1,886 were unsuccessful. Mardan recorded the highest score of 89 among all districts.

Recruitment is currently underway for a total of 115 posts across these four districts.

On this occasion, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Advisor Ehtesham Ali emphasized that recruitment will be conducted solely on the basis of merit. He clarified that no jirgas have been convened and that the recommendation period has ended. For the first time in history, contract recruitments are being carried out entirely through ETA.
