PESHAWAR: In a historic achievement, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Anti-Corruption Establishment recovered a record Rs 4917 million in the fiscal year 2024-25, marking a 176.8% increase compared to the previous year. Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur credited this success to the vision of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Patron-in-Chief Imran Khan, calling it a major step toward transparency and accountability.
This is the first time in KP’s history that such a massive recovery has been made. The anti-corruption body went beyond just investigations and took practical steps to bring financial benefits to the province.
Gandapur stated that this achievement proves Imran Khan’s belief that corruption can be eradicated with strong intentions and a robust system. He emphasized that the recovery is not just about money but also about restoring public trust and laying the foundation for a corruption-free Pakistan.
The KP government has urged the public to support the fight against corruption and help build a better future for the country.
