PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assembly on Wednesday passed a crucial resolution urging action against cellular networks for providing poor internet and telephone network services.
This resolution was presented by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf lawmaker Obaid-ur-Rehman. The resolution highlights the problems of Lower Dir users, who are facing poor facilities despite paying Rs 2.67 billion annually to telecom companies.
The text of the resolution states that students in the area are deprived of access to online education, research and educational materials, which has put their educational future at risk. The public’s valuable time and money are being wasted, and this situation is severely affecting daily life.
