The Meteorological Department issued a weather advisory on Thursday , warning of heavy rain, thunderstorms, and strong winds in several districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa KP on April 11. The severe weather could lead to flash floods, landslides, and damage from hailstorms.
The affected districts include Chitral, Dir, Swat, Shangla, Kohistan, Battagram, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Buner, Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber, Orakzai, Kurram, Peshawar, Charsadda, Nowshera, Swabi, Waziristan, Kohat, Karak, Lakki Marwat, and Bannu.

Authorities have warned that intense thunderstorms with strong winds may damage weak infrastructure, uproot trees, and disrupt power lines. Low-lying areas are at risk of flash floods, while mountainous regions could face landslides. Some areas may also experience hailstorms, and higher altitudes might see light snowfall.
Residents in the affected areas are advised to take precautions and stay updated on weather alerts.
