PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has convened meetings with assembly members today (Sunday) ahead of Monday’s Senate elections in the province.
According to informed sources, Gandapur, along with senior PTI leaders, is considering withholding the oath-taking of newly elected members on reserved seats. Key consultations will take place to explore ways to halt or delay the oath administration process.
The Chief Minister has scheduled two meetings at the CM House—one at 10:30 AM and another at 7:30 PM—to discuss the evolving political situation, the upcoming Senate elections, and internal party matters. All PTI lawmakers have been directed to attend both sessions.
Sources added that Gandapur will brief members on critical developments and seek their input on key decisions. The meetings will also address the fallout from recent statements made by PTI’s dissenting lawmakers.
