PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court (PHC) on Wednesday extended protective bail of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur.
A division bench comprising Justice Sahibzada Ullah and Justice Sabit Ullah heard Ali Amin Gandapur’s plea. The chief minister appeared before the court.
The court has barred authorities from arresting the chief executive and extended his protective bail.
Deputy Attorney General informed the court that 33 cases are registered against Ali Amin Gandapur in Punjab and 32 in Islamabad.
The anti-corruption watchdog NAB Prosecutor General Hashmat informed the court that an inquiry is ongoing against Ali Amin Gandapur.
The court ordered the federal government to present the complete report of cases registered against Ali Amin Gandapur. The court also ordered the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to present its report.
