PESHAWAR:PML-N leader Arbab Khizar Hayat has launched sharp criticism against the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government, accusing it of widespread corruption and neglecting public welfare. He alleged that the provincial administration is diverting workers’ attention to a camp in Peshawar focused on securing PTI founder Imran Khan’s release, rather than addressing pressing public issues .
Hayat claimed this prioritization of political activities over governance has severely hampered development work across the province. He warned that failure to address public grievances could trigger increased political unrest and protests .

Demanding immediate transparency and accountability, Hayat urged the government to halt corrupt practices and refocus efforts on citizen welfare. He reiterated that the KP administration’s current trajectory risks pushing the province toward financial crisis.
