KP forms committee on DRA following AGEGA request

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Advisor Muzammil Aslam has directed the formation of a committee to address the Disparity Reduction Allowance (DRA) and related matters. This decision comes at the request of the All Government Employees Grand Alliance (AGEGA) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and follows instructions from Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur.

Muzammil Aslam met with Special Secretary Finance Admin and Revenue, Khalid Iqbal, and Chairman of AGEGA Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Roidar Khan, to discuss these issues. During the meeting, Aslam instructed the formation of a committee that will include secretaries from various departments, as requested by AGEGA Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. A sub-committee will also be created under this committee, which will include representatives from AGEGA Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to ensure their participation in the consultation process.

Muzammil Aslam emphasised that the provincial government is committed to taking steps within its resources for the betterment of both the employees and the province, ensuring that no one is deprived of their rights. He stated that the primary duty of the province’s nearly seven hundred thousand employees is to provide relief and service to the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa through their respective departments.
