PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to pay full salary, allowances, and pensions in advance for the month of March before Eidul-Fitr amid Eid preparations.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to pay the salary and pension of government employees on March 20 because of Eid.
In this regard, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Department has issued a letter to the Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Additional Chief Secretary, all administrative secretaries, Registrar Peshawar High Court, and heads of other concerned departments.
The letter states that amid Eid-ul-Fitr on March 31 or April 1, it has been decided that the full salary, allowances, and pensions for the month of March will be paid to government employees, pensioners, and retired employees in advance.
The letter states that the salary for March will be paid on March 20 instead of April 1, however, only Muslim government employees and pensioners will get their salary and pension on March 20.
