PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur said that he would not allow any military operation in the province without taking the provincial government into confidence and hold federal government responsible for not establishing peace in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Talking to media persons after the all-party conference Chief Minister said that the opposition’s boycott of the All Party Conference means that they are not worried about terrorism in the province and their priorities are other than bringing peace and stability in the province.
He also demanded that the Federal government open all the borders with Afghanistan for trade and hold a grand dialogue with the Afghan brother for a better, friendly relationship.
He said that there is nothing in the mine and mineral bill, and pointing fingers toward it is just a propaganda of the opposition parties to defame the government.
He said that the Federal government is putting hurdles in the development and prosperity of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and repeatedly withholding the funds of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on various pretexts. He said that the federal government still withhold six billion rupees of developmental funds of the province.
He said that military operations are not the solution to this issue, and these operations would further sow the seeds of hatred and violence in the country. He said that peace would be brought with the trust and support of the public.
He said that the party’s founding chairman is waging a holy war against the brutal policies of the federal government, and the day is not far when he will be victorious in this mission. The chief minister said that PTI workers and leadership are not fearful of fake FIRs, and they would face these challenges without any hesitation.
PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali, Jamaat-e-Islami South Ameer Professor Ibrahim, former Governor Shah Farman, JUI-F’s Abdul Haq, and Maulana Yousaf Shah also participated in the All-Party conference.
