KP governor calls on PM to construct interchange in Abbottabad

 

ABBOTTABAD: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governor, Faisal Karim Kundi has written a letter to the prime minister of Pakistan, Shabaz Sharif, urging him to establish an interchange on the Hazara Motorway for connectivity with Abbottabad.

The Pakistan People Party Abbottabad district President and former National Assembly candidate Syed Saleem Shah met the KP governor in his regard in governor house in Peshawar.

The PPP Abbottabad leader, on the occasion, informed the governor about the problems being faced by the local residents of Abbottabad while entering Abbottabad city.

The PPP leader requested the governor for the construction of the Shimla Lower Tanwal Interchange.

Followed by the PPP Abbottabad chapter leadership request, the Governor KP, Faisal Karim Kundi wrote a letter to Prime Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif.

In the letter, the governor urged the prime minster to set up an interchange in Abbottabad to ensure Abbottabad city with the Hazara motorway, which would ease the travel and access of commuters.

The governor highlighted the problems of the local people due to the lack of interchange for Abbottabad city and distant interchanges which consumed not only time but commuters suffered and traffic often jammed in the city.
