PESHAWAR:Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has strongly criticized the previous PTI-led government in the province, calling it a “government of Alibaba and forty thieves” over alleged massive corruption.

Speaking to the media, Kundi claimed that billions of rupees worth of scandals have surfaced in KP. He said if any other party had been involved in such corruption, arrests would have already been made.

The governor accused PTI’s allies in Islamabad of facilitating corruption, stating that the province’s 12-year budget had been plundered. He demanded immediate arrests of those involved in embezzlement.

Kundi expressed frustration over his limited authority.
