KP Governor visits CMH to enquire about injured DPO Hangu

PESHAWAR: Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi visited CMH Peshawar and enquired about the health of DPO Hangu Khalid Khan and Lieutenant Colonel Khalid of Tall Scout who were injured in the operation against the terrorists of Fitna-ul-Hindustan in Hangu.

The Governor congratulated the injured on the successful operation against the terrorists and paid tribute to their bravery. The Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa said that the nation is proud of brave sons, who fight with valour to defend the motherland against terrorist elements.  He said that sacrifices of the police and security forces would not goes in wane and the day is not far when complete peace would be restored in the country. He said that police always played a front-line role against terrorists and these were the sacrifices of these brave personnel that today terrorist elements are on the run.

It is to mentioning here that two days ago armed terrorists attacked a police convoy, resulting in injury to DPO Hangu along with Lieutenant Colonel Khalid of Tall Scout. The attack has also left killing of several terrorists in retaliatory action.
