PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi visits King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre in Islamabad and held a meeting with head of the organisation Abdullah Al-Buqaimi.
During the meeting, they discussed the ongoing welfare projects and humanitarian relief activities across the country, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, managed by the Islamic Relief Centre. A briefing was also held on the construction of a model village equipped with modern facilities for flood-affected areas in DI Khan under the auspices of the organisation. The governor was also informed about the plan to install 19 water filtration plants in different districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under the auspices of the organisation.
Faisal Karim Kundi said that the services of King Salman Relief Centre in humanitarian aid are commendable and it is playing an important role in helping poor and disadvantaged families across the country, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
