KP govt allocates funds for Peshawar revamp & 5 underpasses in budget: Sher Ali Afridi

PESHAWAR: In a major move to fix Peshawar’s notorious traffic jams, the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa KP has greenlit funds for five new underpasses and a city-wide beautification project to turn Peshawar into the “City of Flowers.”

Adding to the upgrades, a whopping Rs 24 million has been set aside for the Shahi Katta project, aiming to revamp link roads, education, health facilities, and the drainage system.

Member of provincial assembaly from Peshawar,  Sher Ali Afridi,  confirmed the developments in an exclusive interview  with Pakhtun Digital, saying the projects will bring much-needed relief to residents.

“No more traffic nightmares and dirty streets—Peshawar is getting a glow-up!” he said.

He also rejectes tha assartions of the opponints that KP government ignore the development  capital city Peshawar.
