The meeting also decided to expand the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system at certain locations and construct underpasses and overbridges where needed. The Chief Minister directed authorities to focus on building zebra crossings and overhead bridges for pedestrian safety.
Strict enforcement of parking regulations was emphasized, with instructions to ensure that new plazas include parking facilities. The CM warned that officials approving maps without parking provisions would face action. Illegal parking will be penalized with fines based on vehicle value.
