Federal Minister and President PML-N Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Engineer Amir Muqam has said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is exposed by a mega Rs 40 billion Kohistan financial scandal.
The PML-N leader was addressing a public gathering held in the Lachi area of Kohat district on Sunday.
JUI-F leader Fawad Khan from Lachi Kohat announced joining the PML-N along with his family and thousands of his supporters.
“We salute the Pakistan Army, which gave a befitting reply to the enemy,” Federal Minister and President PML-N Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Engineer Amir Muqam said.
He said Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif played the role of an excellent captain in the success of Operation Banyan Marsoos.
The Federal Minister praised the National Accountability Bureau for investigating the Rs 40 billion mega financial scandal in Kohistan and said that it would conduct a thorough investigation into this corruption case.
Condemning the Rs 40 billion mega financial scandal in Kohistan, he said that even a peon could not be transferred in this province without money.
He said, despite the huge recovery, the Chief Minister claims ignorance of the Rs 40 billion financial scandal in Kohistan.
A grand joining ceremony was held in Lachi Kohat under the chairmanship of Federal Minister for Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan Affairs and President of PML-N Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Engineer Amir Muqam.
JUI-F leader from Lachi Kohat, brother of former MPA Major Shadat Khan and son of former minister and deputy speaker Shad Muhammad Khan, Fawad Khan, along with his family and colleagues, officially joined the PML-N.
After Ali Hadi, Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) from Kurram district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, another important political figure has joined the PML-N.
“The joining of Fawad Khan and his supporters is not only an acknowledgement of the growing popularity of the PML-N but also a manifestation of public confidence in the excellent performance of Quaid Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif,” He claimed.
PML-N leader Rehmat Salam Khattak, General Secretary PML-N Kohat Hukum Badshah and PML-N District President Mian Akhlaq were also present on the occasion.
The new entrants who joined the PML-N along with their families and thousands of workers included JUI-F leader Fawad Khan, former MPA Major (retd) Shahdad Khan, former Tehsil Councillor Momin Shah Advocate, former ANP Tehsil President Lachi Arshad, former Nazim Dehi Lachi Khan, former Nazim Lachi Payan Haji Gul Mali Shah, former member Lachi Urban Council Haji Gul Khan Shah, former member Provincial Council Haji Gul Khan Shah, Abdul Aziz and others. Hanif, former Nazim Haji Hayat Khan, former Tehsil Councillor Shad Munir, Councillor Sardar Dawood, Ijaz Advocate, Chairman Village Council Kifayat and Chairman Village Council Mansoor Khan were among those who joined the PML-N.
