KP Approves Filling Vacant Posts to Implement Peshawar Traffic Plan

PESHAWAR: Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur has ordered the immediate release of 5.5 billion rupees to strengthen the provincial police force.

The funds will be used for bulletproof vehicles, modern equipment, and the establishment of Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) teams at the district level.

During a meeting at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, Gandapur emphasized the government’s commitment to maintaining law and order, calling it a top priority.

The meeting also addressed plans to align police salaries in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa with those in other provinces.

The CM praised the police force for its bravery and sacrifices in combating terrorism, vowing that financial constraints would not hinder meeting their needs.
